Notice of Passing of Heritage By-law

In the matter of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter O.18, as amended.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Orangeville has passed By-law Number 062-2017 to designate two areas for the purposes of a Heritage Conservation District Study, as being of architectural and historical value or interest under Part V of The Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter O.18, as amended.

The purpose of the proposed by-law is to prohibit or set limitations with respect to the alteration of property situated in the Heritage Conservation District Study Area and the erection, demolition or removal of buildings or structures, or classes of buildings or structures in the Heritage Conservation District Study Area.
