In order to help make our community accessible, the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee offers a subsidy program to eligible residents, caregivers and businesses toward the purchase of a portable accessibility ramp. Also known as a suitcase ramp, these are portable ramps that don't need to be installed on a permanent basis. They provide access to locations that might not otherwise be accessible in the community.

The subsidy is $250 and is allocated on a first come, first served basis.
