What is the Emergency Response Registry?

The Emergency Response Registry is a confidential database managed by Orangeville Fire Service. It enables first responders to be informed of community members who may need additional help in emergencies due to developmental or physical disabilities.

Who Should Register?

If you, or someone you know within Orangeville, have a developmental or physical disability, we strongly encourage registration. This includes:

  • Individuals with mobility challenges
  • Those who might need assistance due to cognitive or communication disabilities
  • Households with service animals or a significant number of pets

How to Register

  • Online Registration: Register below, and fill out your registration form. You will need to provide your name, address, details about your home, any service animals, or other pets, and an emergency contact.
  • If you would prefer to register in person, or over the phone please call us to setup an appointment at 519-942-7273.

Maintaining Your Registration

  • Ensure that your information is up-to-date. We recommend renewing your registration every two years.
