How to Participate

Orangeville offers both registered recreation programs and drop-in recreation activities.

For those who frequently attend drop-in recreation activities, consider one of the Town's Recreation Pass options.

When to Register

Registration for registered programs typically occurs five times per year.  Drop-in registration is available 75 hours prior to the activity start time.

Online Account Information FAQ's

 Do I already have an account?

If you have registered for any recreation program or event, purchased a Recreation Pass or booked a facility with the Town of Orangeville since 2018, then you may already have an account.  

Do not create a new account if you already have one on with us.  If you are unsure if you have an account, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

 How do I create an account?

 If you are new to our recreation services, please follow the steps below to create a new account:

  1. Go to the login page to create a new account
  2. Click on the Signup link directly under the Town of Orangeville logo
  3. Complete the 'Don't have a login' page.  Once complete, you will receive an email with your temporary password
  4. Use the link in the email to login with your username and temporary password.  You will be asked to reset your password.
 I have an account, but forgot my password?
Go to the login page and click on 'Forgot Password'.  A temporary password will be sent to the email on your profile.  If you are having issues, please contact us.
 Do I need an account to search for programs?
No.  You may search for all offered programs without an account.  You will need an account if you wish to register for a program.
 My account is locked.  What should I do?
Three (5) failed login attempts will lock your account for 15 minutes.  Please wait 15 minutes and try again.
 How do I edit information on my profile?
Most account information can be modified by selecting the customer under 'My Info' and selecting 'Edit'.  We encourage our customers to ensure these fields are up to date.  Certain fields are locked for editing.  Please contact us if you require a change to this information.

Program Information

Program Fees

Program rates and fees vary from program to program.  Program fees are listed without tax.  Drop-in activity fees include tax.  The Town reserves the right to change, cancel or alter any fees, classes, times or location without notice in the event of low enrollment, change of facility or instructor availability. 


Non-residents are subject to a 20% surcharge on programs, services and registrations.  Drop-in fees may vary.  The Town reserves the right to request proof of residency.

Age Requirement 
Children must be the minimum age required by the start of the program.  Age requirements are program-specific and are indicated for each program. 
Missed Classes 
In the event that a participant cannot attend a class(es), the Town regrets that make-up classes, credits, or refunds will not be offered. 
Program Transfers 
Program transfers will be permitted before the start of the third scheduled class, provided space is available. 
Program Cancellations 
There will be no registered programs scheduled on statutory holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day and the August Civic holiday.  Your registration confirmation outlines any other cancellations specific to your program. 
Drop-in Single Visit Activities 
Valid for one continuous visit on the day of purchase only, with no in-and-out privileges.  Single-visit, drop-in payments are non-refundable or transferrable.

Adverse Weather Closures 
All efforts will be made to ensure that all recreation facilities remain open during regular hours of operation, with programs and services operating as normal.  In the event of extreme weather, please contact us or check for cancellations online at  
Refund Policy 
Refund Policy
  • Refund requests five (5) business days or more before the course start date will be issued a full refund.
  • Refund requests within five (5) business days of the course start date, and up to the third scheduled class, will be issued a pro-rated refund, less a $10 administration fee.
  • After the third class, refunds may be issued for medical reasons only with medical documentation.
  • If a program is cancelled by the Town, a full refund will be issued. 
Refunds for Camps (Holiday, March Break & Summer) 
  • Refund requests five (5) business days or more before the camp start date are subject to a $25 administration fee.
  • Refund requests within five (5) business days of the program start date are subject to a refund of 50% of the camp fee. 
Refunds for Passes (term and multi-visit)
Refunds are not available for passes. 

Refund requests for relocation or medical reasons will be considered and may require medical documentation from a medical practitioner or relocation details.   To request a Recreation Pass cancellation, please complete the Recreation Pass Cancellation Request Form.

Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) 
An administration fee of $25 will be charged for NSF cheques or payments.
