The Sign By-law regulates the placement, size and appearance of signs in the Town of Orangeville. You need a sign permit for the following types of signs:
- permanent (ground signs, wall signs and land development signs)
- portable
- awnings and marquees that overhang the street

Signs in a Heritage Conservation District
If a proposed sign will be located in the Downtown Heritage Conservation District, you must comply with the regulations and guidelines set out for the heritage district.
