We offer service on three routes throughout Town. View each bus route and schedule on our mobile app.

Transit Disruption Notices

Orange Route - Sept. 4 to 17 - Intersection Closure (Fourth Street at Second Ave.)

  • 🚏 Last stop before detour: Stop #18 (Fourth Street Stop)
  • 🚏 First stop following detour: Stop #20 (Third Street and Orangemill Court)

Stops 19 will not be serviced during the closure.

Regular routing is expected to resume September 18.

Transit shelters

Our transit system stops at six different shelters that are conveniently located throughout the community at the following locations:

  • Fourth Street and Broadway
  • Broadway and John Street
  • Broadway and Centre Street
  • Fourth Avenue
  • Montgomery Boulevard and Riddell Road
  • Alder Street and Montgomery Boulevard (near Westside Secondary School and Alder Recreation Centre.)
  • Northmen Way (near Orangeville District Secondary School and Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre)

As part of our continued improvements to ensure Orangeville Transit riders have a positive experience, we will update this section regularly with information on the current bus statuses, identifying which vehicles are on the road, and how to request accessible alternatives where needed.

Throughout the year, various public holidays may effect Orangeville Transit's hours of operation. Impacted dates are listed below.

  • New Years Day – January 1 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Family Day – February 19 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Good Friday – March 29 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Easter Monday – April 1 - no impact to transit
  • Victoria Day – May 20 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Canada Day – July 1 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Civic holiday – August 5 - no impact to transit
  • Labor day – September 2 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Thanksgiving – October 14 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Remembrance Day – November 11 - no impact to transit
  • Christmas Eve - December 24 – Transit will be operating with a shortened schedule. More information to be posted at a later date.
  • Christmas Day – December 25 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • Boxing Day – December 26 (TRANSIT CLOSED)
  • New Years Eve – December 31 - Transit will be operating. More information to be posted at a later date.
