Orangeville joins climate change pilot project.
Once assessment work has been completed, findings will be presented to the community.
Beginning October 15, 2019 and continuing between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday each week, Orangeville Water Works staff will be completing a fire hydrant flushing program.
As work is done on some fire hydrants, they will look grey for a short period of time before being repainted.
Environmental Assessment starts to look at the need for an additional water supply and evaluate alternatives.
The Town of Orangeville continues to monitor its winter maintenance activities without compromising roadway and pedestrian safety.
Funding directed towards Climate Change Co-ordinator contract position.
