Community input sought for Sustainability Plan
The Town of Orangeville is developing a Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP) and is inviting the community to get involved. Individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations are all welcome to provide input and ideas about the future of Orangeville.
With funding through the Green Municipal Fund, the Town of Orangeville is creating the SNAP to outline the steps required to build a greener, healthier, better place in which to live, work and play. Like other municipalities across Canada, the Town recognizes the need to lower its impact on the environment and improve the quality of life for everyone. The community’s ideas are required to help make this happen.
The plan’s engagement process includes three stages. The first stage will aim to define where we want to go and will explore all “big picture” opportunities.
There are two ways to provide your input. Complete the online survey by October 31, 2018 or attend an upcoming pop-up event, happening at various locations throughout Town starting on October 6. Find a full schedule here.
