Along with its partners, the Town of Orangeville Economic Development office is hosting this event to support hiring efforts in key industries including manufacturing, health care, tourism, finance, social services, retail, and real estate.
More than 30 local employers will attend the May 2nd job fair and will be recruiting for permanent full-time and part-time positions. Among the companies participating are KTH Parts Industries Inc., ROTO-MILL INC., IMBC Blowmolding Inc., Röchling Engineering Plastics Ltd., Direct Plastics Ltd., Ice River Springs, Saputo Dairy Products Canada, Millennium1 Solutions, Orangeville Home Hardware Building Centre, Vintage Hotels, Royal LePage RCR Realty, and Investors Group. Adecco Group, Power Personnel Employment Agency, and Think Pro will also be on hand to showcase the wide range of job opportunities available locally. A full list of participating employers can be found at orangevillebusiness.ca/events.
This will be the second job fair hosted by the Town of Orangeville. The first event, held in November 2016, attracted over 440 potential candidates and featured over 20 local employers. “The success of our first job fair demonstrated that there are excellent employment opportunities available right here in our community,” says Ruth Phillips, manager of Economic Development for the Town of Orangeville. ”Area businesses are very interested in finding qualified, local candidates for their openings. We look forward to providing this opportunity for job seekers and employers to connect.”
The Orangeville & Area Job Fair will take place at the Orangeville Best Western PLUS Inn & Suites on Wednesday, May 2, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes highlighting their skills.
This event is hosted by the Town of Orangeville Economic Development office in partnership with the Waterloo Wellington Dufferin Workforce Planning Board, Georgian College Centre for Career and Employment Services (CCES), the County of Dufferin, and the Dufferin Board of Trade.
