Winter Lights Contest winners announced for 2017

Orangeville has lit up the night sky this Christmas season. The winners of the Winter Lights Contest have been announced by the Communities in Bloom Committee.

The recipient of the Mayor’s Griswold Award is 2 Park Lane for the Griswold Large House display, and the Griswold Small House display was awarded to 94 Marion Street.

The award for Best Decorated Outdoor Tree went to 7 Park Lane.

The Best Decorated Business display was awarded to Mortgage Architects, for their
old-fashioned Christmas display.

The Most Decorated Street is Meadow Drive where at least 50 percent of the homes are displaying Christmas lights and decorations.

The Orangeville Spirit Award was the entry that received the most likes and shares on Facebook, and was awarded to 167 Lisa Marie Drive -- an entry that reached 819 people and received 147 likes/shares.

The Communities in Bloom Committee thanks all the participants for the brilliant displays, along with the sponsors of this year’s Christmas Lights competition:  Thai for You, Mark’s Work Warehouse, Haircuts at Nick’s Place, Mill Creek Gardens Café and MyFM 101.5.
