The Town of Orangeville’s water meter replacement project is moving forward after signing an on-budget contract with Neptune Technology Group on November 10. Replacement of the Town’s nearly 10,000 aged water meters should be completed by fall of 2025.

After an extensive renovation, the Orangeville Public Library and the Town of Orangeville are thrilled to welcome the community back to the Mill Street Library, beginning on November 21.

Redevelopment project progresses at Avalon Care Centre

On August 28, the Ontario government announced a full redevelopment of the Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville’s 40-year-old long term care facility.

The project will bring 23 new and 137 upgraded beds to the community, as well as air conditioning throughout the building, larger common areas for residents, and home-like living spaces. The site will also provide diagnostic services and connections for home care.

Today, Enbridge Gas Inc. (Enbridge Gas), the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) and Orangeville Fire Services announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.
