311 call service coming to area – Council received and approved correspondence to support the Town of Caledon's application for 311 Call Service. This support and approval was given on the understanding that residents of Orangeville who dial 311 and are connected to the Town of Caledon are provided the option of being transferred to the Town of Orangeville.

Orangeville Community Art Mosaic – Mayor Sandy Brown announced the unveiling earlier in the day of the Orangeville Community Art Mosaic. Located in Town Hall, the 500 tiles depict Orangeville scenes.

Integrity Commissioner, Council Training Session – Charles Harnick, ADR Chambers, Integrity Commissioner provided information to Council on the function and role of the Integrity Commissioner. Mr. Harnick also provided training with respect to the Code of Conduct and answered questions from Council.

Kin Club Charity Road Toll event – Council passed a by-law to permit the Kin Club of Orangeville to hold a road toll fundraising event at the intersections of Third Street and Fourth Avenue on October 23, 2021 or on any other alternate date in 2021 as approved by a designated staff member in Infrastructure Services.

Humber Lands – Primacare Living Solutions – Council heard a presentation by Matthew Melchior of Primacare Living Solutions with respect to a campus of care senior residences that would provide a continuum of care. A potential location for such a facility could be on the Humber Lands. Mr. Melchior requested to purchase the Humber Lands from the Town of Orangeville. Council referred the item to staff for review, comment and recommendations.

Official Plan Review Steering Committee – Council received a report about the Official Plan Review Steering Committee and approved the Terms of Reference. Closed meeting minutes – The minutes of the closed Council meeting regarding a site alteration application in Amaranth by Amarlinc resulted in a resolution by Council. Amarlinc Earthworks Inc. is proposing to use its property at 513151 2nd Line in the Township of Amaranth (Township) for an earthworks fill operation that would result in approximately 800,000 cubic metres of fill from construction sites in the Greater Toronto Area being used to fill in the aggregate pit located on the property.

Replacement of sidewalks and boulevards on Broadway – Howard Wray of Triton Engineering provided an overview of the replacement of sidewalks and boulevards on Broadway from John Street to Third Street.
