Based on advice from federal and provincial public health officials, and the critical need for social distancing, Orangeville Council will hold its second virtual meeting on April 6. As they occur, virtual Council meetings can be viewed live, or at any time following the meetings, on YouTube (Orangeville Council channel). Council Chambers at Town Hall will not be open to the public to attend Council meetings until further notice.



Members of the public who have an interest in a matter listed on the agenda may, up until 4:30 p.m. on the day of a scheduled Council meeting:






  1. Email questions or comments relating to an item on the agenda to [email protected], or
  2. Call Town Hall at 519-941-0440 extension 2223 and leave a voicemail stating the questions or comments relating to an item on the agenda. Please also include your contact information. 


At the April 6 Council meeting, members of the public wishing to raise a question during the public question period may also send an email to [email protected] up until 8 p.m. only or call Town Hall at 519-941-0440 Ext. 2223, between 7 and 8 p.m.



Town staff are currently exploring further options to facilitate electronic public question period.  Updates regarding a process to facilitate electronic public question period will be provided as they become available. Every effort will be made to ensure that public comments or questions submitted within the designated times of each meeting are noted during the meeting.
