During the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival from June 5 to 7, there will be some road closures and Orangeville Transit will detour from Broadway to accommodate the closure of Broadway. Detour and temporary stop information is below.

Transit detours

  • last stop before detour: Broadway at John St.
  • temporary stops: 2nd Ave. at Second St., 2nd Ave. at Fourth St.
  • route reconnection: Broadway at Fourth St. (Tim Hortons)

Stops not serviced during the Blues and Jazz Festival weekend

  • Broadway at Mill St.
  • Broadway at Second St.

Road closures

Please note, any parking lots located in areas identified as having a road closure will also be closed during the festival weekend.

Thursday, June 6 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, June 7 at 11 p.m.

  • Laneway – behind Town Hall – Second Street to east of Town Hall
  • First Avenue – Second Street to Third Street (local traffic only)

Friday, June 5 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.:

  • Broadway left turn lane at Second Street – eastbound to Second Street
  • Broadway right turn lane at Second Street – westbound to Second Street

Friday, June 5 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, June 7 at 11 p.m.

  • Second Street – Broadway to First Avenue
  • Laneway – adjacent to TD Canada Trust parking lot – Second Street to 10 Second Street (Aart’s Hair Studio)

Friday, June 5 at 10 a.m. until Sunday, June 7 at 11 p.m.:

  • Broadway – Fourth Street to Wellington
  • Broadway – Wellington Street West to First Street
  • First Street left turn lane – southbound to Broadway
  • Mill Street – Broadway to Little York/Armstrong Street
Broadway eastbound through lane – John Street to First Street
