As the Victoria Day long weekend approaches, The Town of Orangeville advises residents of upcoming changes to hours for offices and non-emergency services: 

Town Hall

  • Saturday, May 20  - Closed
  • Sunday, May 21 – Closed
  • Monday, May 22 – Closed

 Library

  • Saturday, May 20 – Alder Library open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 21 – Alder Library Closed
  • Monday, May 22 – Closed 

Recreation Centre

  • Friday, May 19 – Customer Service closes at 9 a.m.; building closes at 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 20 – Customer Service and building closes at 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 21 – Customer Service and building closes at 6 p.m.
  • Monday, May 22 - Closed

Waste and Recycling

There will be no waste collection on May 22. Waste collection will be a day late on the week of the Victoria Day holiday. When waste is collected, residents can double up by placing two un-tagged bags of garbage at the curb. Fireworks 

If you’re planning to enjoy fireworks this weekend, please do so responsibly. Remember, fireworks are prohibited on public roads, sidewalks, parks, and shopping plazas. For Victoria Day, fireworks are permitted in the Town of Orangeville on Sunday, May 21; Monday, May 22; and Tuesday, May 23 only (By-law 115-2004).
