Town of Orangeville Mayor Lisa Post is inviting residents to join her at her first Town Hall style meeting to hear about some of the Town’s latest projects and ask Mayor Post, Council and Town staff your questions.

Held at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre on May 24, community members will have the opportunity to hear brief presentations and speak with Mayor Post about matters that are important to them.

“Being rooted in our community is an important part of being Mayor, and that means taking time to meet with residents and talk about the things that matter to you,” said Mayor Lisa Post. “I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and share some of the upcoming projects and plans at the Town.”

The doors to the banquet hall will open at 6 p.m. with presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m. Some of the topics to be discussed will include the upcoming water meter replacement program, the Town’s parks and trails, and the Hansen Boulevard connection.

Deputy Mayor Todd Taylor and Councillor Rick Stevens will also be in attendance at the event.

Light refreshments will be served. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

This event will also be livestreamed on the Town of Orangeville’s Instagram page @townoforangeville.

Media interested in attending the event are asked to contact Jessie McGibbon at [email protected].
