Traffic counts to be conducted on various Town streets July 12, 13

A contractor for the Town of Orangeville will be performing traffic counts on July 12 and 13.

These counts demonstrate the average daily use of local roads and how busy they are to help determine maintenance needs and where to make potential improvements.

The following locations will be surveyed on Wednesday or Thursday:

• Buena Vista Drive: Hurontario Street to Lynda Avenue
• Bythia Street: Lawrence Avenue to Town Line
• Bythia Street: Hillside Drive to York Street
• Dawson Road: Madison Avenue to St. Peter Catholic Elementary School
• Dawson Road: Town Line to Shirley Street
• Fifth Avenue: Third Street to the Galaxy Cinemas Orangeville entrance
• Fifth Avenue: Second Street to Third Street
• Fourth Avenue: Third Street to Zehrs Orangeville entrance
• Fourth Avenue: Zehrs Orangeville entrance to Highway 10
• John Street: Little York Street to Church Street
• John Street: Hannah Street to Town Line
• John Street: Town Line to Princess Street
• McCannell Avenue: Rolling Hills Drive to Highway 10
• Oak Ridge Drive: McMaster Road to Highway 9
• Rolling Hills Drive: Murray Court to Highway 9
• Town Line: Margaret to Mill Street
• Town Line: John Street to William Street
