Council establishes committees and boards to increase public engagement and provide residents an opportunity to make recommendations to Council on matters relevant to the community.

There are over 11 committees overseen by Orangeville Council with approximately 65 volunteer committee opportunities available.

Not sure where to start? On January 25, the Town of Orangeville invites the public to our committee job fair to learn more about each of the committees and their responsibilities.

Each position includes a four-year commitment, typically consisting of 1 meeting per month.

There will be a committee job fair drop-in session at Town Hall, 87 Broadway on January 25 from 4 to 6 p.m.
