Orangeville’s Business Improvement Area (BIA) has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by launching ShopDowntownOrangeville.ca. The online shopping experience offered by the BIA, in partnership with Green Monkey Creative, bridges the gap between Orangeville’s downtown businesses and their customers. The digital downtown marketplace showcases a wide variety of local businesses – 22 so far, with ongoing additions.



When the province shut down all non-essential activities and services, Orangeville’s residents banded together by staying apart to keep each other safe and healthy. While retail storefronts are now permitted to open, many people may not yet be comfortable going out to shop. Online shopping provides an alternative to in-person shopping for customers and offers the opportunity for another revenue stream for businesses.



The Downtown Orangeville online marketplace features a growing number of products being offered by downtown businesses. You can shop by collection or by store, with convenient options like curbside pick-up and doorstep delivery to make it easy to safely get what you need.
