Drop-In Sports

The Town of Orangeville offers a variety of drop-in sports programs for a variety of ages and abilities. Sport Court reservations are also available for pickleball and basketball (3-on-3 court). Pre-registration is available online and is encouraged so that you can secure your spot in advance.

 Pickleball
 Adult Social Pickleball

This recreational drop-in program is for adults to engage in a social pickleball game. A maximum of 4 spots are available, enough for a doubles game! Pre-registration is recommended. Secure your spot 75 hours in advance. 1 net is provided. Please bring your own paddle and balls.

 Youth Social Pickleball

This recreational drop-in program is for youth ages 14-17 to engage in a social pickleball game. A maximum of 8 spots are available. Players will rotate for court time. Pre-registration is recommended. Secure your spot 75 hours in advance. 1 net is provided. Equipment is available for use. Participants are expected to enjoy this program with an emphasis on shared positive experience, observing the principles of safety, respect and courtesy, including following the direction of program staff. Please check in at customer service for entry into the program.

Court Reservations
The Saputo Health & Wellness Centre, upstairs at Alder Recreation Centre has 1 indoor pickleball court. Arena B Floor at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre has 2 indoor pickleball courts. The courts are available during specific times, by court reservation only. This facility offers 1 net per court. Players must bring their own paddle and balls. Court reservations are 1.5 hours in length and are available to reserve 75 hours in advance.

 Come check out our 3 on 3 basketball court. This recreational drop-in program is open to all skill levels. All programs for ages 18+ are unsupervised. Participants are expected to organize their own games with an emphasis on shared positive experience, observing the principles of safety, respect and courtesy. Capacity limits are in effect. Program staff are on-site to help facilitate child & youth drop-in times. Pre-Registration is open 75 hours in advance of program times.

 Stick and Ball (Lacrosse)

Practice your passing, shooting and lacrosse skills in a casual environment. This open-floor recreational drop-in program is open to all skill levels. Participants are expected to enjoy this program with an emphasis on shared positive experience, observing the principles of safety, respect and courtesy, including following the direction of program staff. Organized game play (shinny) is not permitted. Stick, helmet and gloves are mandatory for all participants.

Saputo Health & Lifestyle Centre - Rules & Etiquette 

• Indoor running shoes are required

• Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment. A limited amount of equipment is available for use.

• Participants are permitted to use the space during the program hours posted.

• All programs for ages 18+ are unsupervised. Participants are expected to organize their own games with an emphasis on shared positive experience, observing the principles of safety, respect and courtesy.

• Food and drinks, with the exception of sport drinks and water, are not permitted in the Centre.

• Participants are permitted to use their own speakers during posted program hours. Please be advised that during the scheduled fitness classes, the use of personal speakers is not permitted.

• All participants must check in at the Customer Service desk prior to entering the space.

• Allowing additional patrons access through emergency exit doors is strictly prohibited.

• Participants must follow direction given by Program and Facility staff.
