Orangeville, Ontario, July 7, 2023 — Today, Ruby Sahota, Member of Parliament for Brampton North, and Her Worship Lisa Post, Mayor of the Town of Orangeville, announced a federal investment of more than $83,000 to support planning activities for a transition to zero emission buses in Orangeville.

Traffic counts to be conducted on various Town streets July 12, 13

A contractor for the Town of Orangeville will be performing traffic counts on July 12 and 13.

These counts demonstrate the average daily use of local roads and how busy they are to help determine maintenance needs and where to make potential improvements.

The following locations will be surveyed on Wednesday or Thursday:

Discoloured Water in Rolling Hills Area

The Town of Orangeville has had reports from residents in the Rolling Hills area who are experiencing discoloured water. 

We take water quality seriously – those experiencing discoloured water are asked to contact the Public Works team at 519-941-0440 x 4500 during business hours; after hours, call 519-941-0440 and press 3.

While the cause of the issue in the Rolling Hills area is still under investigation, we're frequently performing water tests and has identified no risks to health.

The Town of Orangeville has announced the community splash pads will open for the 2023 season beginning at 10 a.m. on June 2.

Located at Fendley Park and Harvey Curry Park, these amenities provide a great way for residents and their children to have fun while keeping cool.

The splash pads will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. until approximately early September, weather-permitting.
