Transmetro and Aldenhill Subdivision Applications – Brandon Ward, Manager of Planning, outlined the applications submitted by Transmetro Properties Limited, Aldenhill Developments Limited and Edgewood Valley Developments Limited c/o Hughes Management. These are applications for two plans of subdivision with related Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments. The proposed subdivisions are in the vicinity of Blind Line and Hansen Boulevard.

Environmental Sustainability Award – The recipient of the individual category of the Town’s annual Environmental Sustainability Awards was announced at Orangeville Council. Proposed Pet Shop By-law Amendment - Orangeville Council held a meeting October 5 to permit public input into a proposed pet shop by-law amendment. The proposed by-law amendment proposes to permit pet shops within the Town to only sell dogs or cats that have been obtained from a municipal animal shelter, registered humane society, registered shelter or recognized animal rescue group.
