Spending time in Orangeville during March break is a perfect way to connect with your family. You’ll discover engaging and entertaining activities to suit all ages and interests. Here are four ways to make the most of your March break in Orangeville.

Enjoy the outdoors

If the mild temperatures are calling you outdoors, Orangeville's scenic landscape and wide-open spaces are the answer. Orangeville has over 20 kilometres of multi-use trails, connecting 35 parks on 49 hectares of land. Challenge yourself to visit as many parks as you can during the break. Be sure to include a visit to Island Lake Conservation Area to explore the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail or read along the Tales on the Trail storybook walk.

Discover downtown

In the mood to wander? Take a stroll through our charming downtown. Explore historic streetscapes and public art with self-guided walking tours. Browse our unique selection of shops and tempt your tastebuds at our cafes, bakeries and restaurants.

Get active indoors

Who says you need to be outside to be active? Whether you book a tee time for the golf simulators at The Golf House, The Virtual Green, or Headwaters Racquet Club, aim for a strike at Bowling on Broadway, or test your aim at Far Shot Recreation, you will find lively indoor fun in Orangeville. Little ones with unbounded energy can stop by Recess Play, enjoy a sensory space at Inclusive Perspectives, or participate in Town of Orangeville’s drop-in activities.

Explore the arts

There are creative options for all ages in Orangeville. Get your hands dirty while making a treasured keepsake at Pottery Parties Studio. Learn a new technique by attending a class at Maggiolly Art and Ricky Schaede Art Studio. If you prefer to appreciate rather than create, head to Dragonfly Arts on Broadway to see artists at work in their studios.

Orangeville Public Library has an exciting line-up of shows and programs to entertain and amaze during March Break, including a magic show, Birds of Prey show, Fireside Munsch, Scientists in School programs, a LEGO Challenge and more.
