Over 70 public art installations are on display throughout Orangeville. Tree sculptures, utility box art, statues, and murals all contribute to our diverse collection. While finding each piece is certainly a worthy endeavour, we’ve curated these self-guided tours to help you discover the collection, one piece at a time.
Top Ten Public Art Tour
This tour highlights the must-see public art pieces in Orangeville, as selected by art-loving community members. During the one-hour tour, you’ll drive and walk to explore the diverse range of public artwork. You’ll see the intricate details of tree sculptures complemented by brightly coloured utility boxes and stately statues.
Public Art Walking Tour: Central West
This tour showcases the diversity of Orangeville’s public art collection, displayed in and around the west side of our downtown area. The two-hour walking tour leads you through parks and scenic streets as you discover 20 unique pieces. You can also take part in our Central West Art Quest along the way.
A walk-through time: Self-guided historic tours
Step back in time and follow one of three walking tours to experience Orangeville’s history. Footsteps from our Past highlights significant buildings and structures and explains the people and stories behind each one. Each route takes about 30 minutes and can be combined for a complete tour of Orangeville’s history.
