An intensely creative community of artists calls Orangeville home, so it's only fitting that a growing public art collection is on display throughout town. Old trees are preserved as spirited sculptures depicting Orangeville's history, people and stories. Functional utility boxes are transformed into colourful works of local art. Murals and sculptures add to the ambience. Be sure to meet the Mantis Queen, a striking, large-scale sculpture created by award-winning artist Ron Baird. It stands proudly at 200 Lakeview Court. You may happen upon Orangeville's public art locations or follow a self-guided tour for a more direct path of discovery.

There is a certain energy and emotion that can only be experienced during a live performance and Theatre Orangeville offers just that. Staging its shows in the historic Opera House, the professional theatre company offers patrons the opportunity to experience diverse productions from September to May. Special presentations are often added throughout the year so be sure to visit the box office to see what's on during your visit.
