Scenic Drive Belfountain and Badlands

A scenic drive in and around Orangeville is a beautiful way to experience the area. This route promises unique views, quaint stops and plenty of twists and turns along the way. As you drive, you'll find plenty of things to see, do, and admire.

To prepare for your adventure, grab a coffee at one of Orangeville's fabulous cafes or a sweet snack from one of our bakeries. 

The route starts and ends at the Visitor Information Centre in Orangeville and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. You will travel through Caledon Village and along the scenic Forks of the Credit Road to the charming village of Belfountain where you can enjoy coffee and browse local shops. Next, journey to Olde Baseline Road and pass the unique Cheltenham Badlands. Complete your journey when you return to Orangeville and tuck in to a heartwarming meal at one of our local eateries.

NOTE: Please be cautious as you take photos and enjoy the scenery. Be aware of your surroundings, including weather conditions and traffic, and consider your safety when choosing areas to park and explore. 

1. Drive South on Highway 10, through the village of Caledon.
2. Turn right (west) on the Forks of the Credit Road to the charming village of Belfountain.    
3. Stop in Belfountain to enjoy coffee and to browse shops.   
4. Turn south on Mississauga Road
5. Turn left (east) to Olde Baseline Road and pass the unique Cheltenham Badlands area
6.  Turn North on Highway 10 and return to Orangeville.
