Three ways to add some fun to your Family Day
Family Day is on Monday, February 20 and is the perfect opportunity to spend time together. If you're looking for fun ways to enjoy the special day, here are three options happening right here in Orangeville:
1. Take to the lake.
Island Lake Conservation Area invites you to get outside. Enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, ice fishing and skating. Then warm up by the campfire or treat yourself to a hot chocolate. All activities are based on winter conditions. Find full details and advisories at cvc.ca.
2. Create, skate and play.
The Orangeville Public Library and Orangeville Recreation have teamed up to provide the community with lots to see and do at Alder Recreation Centre. Drop by between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to enjoy a variety of activities for all ages including crafts, skating, character visits, and a professional photo booth. Find all details at orangeville.ca
3. Search and explore.
The Town of Orangeville’s tree sculpture collection can be explored using our digital guide and when you’re finished exploring, enjoy a meal at one of our family-friendly restaurants.
Be sure to share your fun on Instagram or Facebook using #LoveOrangeville. Happy Family Day!
