A literary adventure: Tales on the Trail
Tales on the Trail is a permanent storybook walk hosted by the Island Lake Conservation Area in partnership with the Orangeville Public Library, Halton Hills Public Library, Friends of Island Lake and the Women’s Institute. Read a story as you walk along the trail, finding new pages as you go. There will be a new story to discover every month! For more information, see the Credit Valley Conservation website.

Length: Three kilometres, approximately one hour Directions: Start/end in downtown Orangeville, near Mill Creek Gardens at 3 Little York Street. The route takes you west through Kay Cee Gardens and then along Broadway, Orangeville's main street. The final stretch includes a stroll along historic Zina Street. Difficulty: Easy, the entire route travels along sidewalks and paved trails
