Mill Creek Rehabilitation Project
Rehabilitation Class Environmental Assessment and Design Study
The Town of Orangeville is carrying out a rehabilitation of Mill Creek to address concerns relating to erosion, flooding, slope stability and other problems. Aquafor Beech Limited has been retained by the Town to undertake the Mill Creek Rehabilitation Class Environmental Assessment and Design Study (the Class EA).
The Class EA will focus on Mill Creek from Bythia Street in the west to the creek's confluence with the Credit River in the east. It will build on the work carried out by the Coldwater Conservation Challenge in 2011, which found that the Mill Creek community is largely supportive of creek restoration and would like a restoration that is effective, aesthetically pleasing and natural.
