Library invites the community to share stories together
Storytelling Series is the Orangeville Public Library’s latest literary program. Developed in partnership with Community Living Dufferin, Storytelling Series will bring the community together over a shared love and appreciation for the written and spoken word.
The series kicks off on Monday, January 14 at the Mill Street Library with Dufferin County Poet Laureate Harry Posner. Harry is known not only for his eloquent words, but also for the lively way he delivers his poetry. Join the fun 1 p.m. around the fireplace as Harry shares some of his favourite poems and the stories that inspired them.
The Storytelling Series will continue on the second Monday of the month at 1 p.m. at the Mill Street Library. The program features a different local author or storyteller each month for an afternoon of poetry and stories. Pack a lunch, grab a friend, and meet beside the fire and listen to Words the Orangeville Way.
