Concession Attendant

The Town of Orangeville regularly looks for individuals to join the Town as Concession Attendants. This position provides concession services at the Alder Street Recreation Centre and Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre.  The main duties of the position include preparing and serving food, receiving money from customers for purchases, balancing cash and preparing bank deposits, and maintaining a sanitary work area.  These positions are casual with no minimum hours guaranteed, up to twenty-four (24) hours per week.

Minimum qualifications include some secondary school education.  The successful candidates must at least sixteen (16) years of age, and able to work on weekends, evenings and statutory holidays. Previous experience in a similar environment would be an asset. The successful candidates must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to thirty (30) pounds.
