The Corporation of the Town of Orangeville invites applications for the position of

Casual Facility Assistant

Community Services Department

The successful candidates will perform the tasks involved in maintaining two multi-use recreational facilities.  Duties include janitorial work, assisting with ice and pool maintenance, and other duties as required.  Candidates must be capable of performing physically demanding work, such as walking, standing, ice skating, climbing stairs, lifting, pushing and pulling.  Candidates must be willing and able to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, evenings and statutory holidays and late nights.  These positions are casual, working a maximum of 24 hours per week.

Your strengths include the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Previous janitorial experience will be considered an asset. A commitment to working safely is a must.
