Storytelling Series

November 11 – December 9 (2 dates) | Orangeville Public Library | Library

November 11, 2019, 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Join Marina L. Reed on Monday, December 9 as she enlightens readers about the pros and cons of creating a work of fiction, and of non-fiction. Get a glimpse behind the stories and how characters have strong opinions. Marina will read from her two books, discuss her forthcoming series and her new novel that is tickling her keyboard, as well as answering any questions you may have.

Marina grew up in rural Ontario, just on the edge of Orangeville. She has since lived and worked in countries around the world as an author, educator, journalist and artist. Her experiences and observations are brought to life through her fiction and non-fiction writing. Primrose Street is her first novel. It's Lonely in Paradise is her second novel. She is currently working on a non-fiction series, Remember, It's OK, which will be released next spring. She has recorded the first book in the Remember series as an audiobook, to be available this fall. She is a great lover of nature, of animals, the arts and the empowerment of individuals. Follow her at Marinalreed.com.

Developed in partnership with Community Living Dufferin, the Storytelling Series brings the written word alive. Join us for a reading, Q&A, and meet and greet with a different local author every month. All ages and abilities welcome.
