Sylvia Bradley has served as a Councillor for the Town of Orangeville since first being elected in 2006.

Involved on many town committees and boards, Councillor Bradley has found her passion in working towards improving the environment.  One of her many accomplishments has been the development of the Orangeville Community Garden and Orchard and the planting of approximately 8,000 trees and shrubs in Orangeville.

 Prior to entering politics, Councillor Bradley was employed as a Human Resources Professional in the private sector working for companies in aerospace, banking, automotive and plastics. Currently, she is a self- employed  property owner/manager.

Councillor Bradley is a graduate of Sheridan College, with a designation in Human Resources Professional Management.

In her leisure time, Councillor Bradley can be found in her garden where she shares her time with nature.  Home renovations and decorating have been a lifelong interest and with her partner she has restored a number of heritage homes.  Travelling to many parts of the world has taught Councillor Bradley the value of diversity, inclusiveness and appreciation for quality of life.

Councillor Bradley and her partner Herb have six children and three grandchildren.
