Gail Campbell, Councillor

A member of Orangeville Council for 17 years, Gail Campbell serves as a Councillor.

During her time on Council, Gail Campbell has served on almost every Town Board and Committee, including Theatre Orangeville, the Library Board, the Physician Search Committee, Hills of Headwaters Tourism, and the Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Councillor Campbell is a member of the Credit Valley Conservation Board of Directors, the Chair of Access Orangeville and the Fire Advisory Committee, and a member of the Honours Committee and Police Service Board.

Provincially, Councillor Campbell serves on the Executive of Ontario Small Urban Municipalities. Federally, she is a member of the Consumers Council of Canada.  Councillor Campbell has a long history of community service and involvement.  Prior to serving on Town Council, she was a Trustee with the Dufferin County Board of Education for 15 years and was a member of the Orangeville Police Services Board for several years.

Councillor Campbell is a Registered Nurse, retired after many years’ experience in Orangeville Hospital’s Emergency Room. She and her husband, Clark, have lived in Orangeville since their marriage 45 years ago. They have raised and educated their daughters, Sarah and Mary, in Orangeville and they now have two grandchildren and a beagle named Ruby.
