Water Emergencies

What is a water emergency?

A water main break, which often occurs in the winter due to freezing and thawing in the ground, can have the appearance of a flood in the roadway. Simultaneously, residents living in the area can experience a significant reduction in water pressure to the point of having no running water.

In addition to water main breaks, residents may want to ask for help concerning the following issues:

  • water quality
  • low water pressure
  • no water
  • water testing
  • leaks

Who should you call?

Call the Town's Public Works Department/Operations Centre during weekdays, during business hours, at 519-941-0440 Ext. 4520.

For after hours, please call 519-941-2671.
