Note that during holidays, regular swimming/skating schedules will change. The schedules will be posted closer to the holiday.

The Alder Street Recreation Centre pool is closed until September 13, 2010.  Please refer to the fall swim schedule for swimming dates.

September 2 - Ticket Ice is cancelled from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the Green Rink. The facility will be open to the public at 8 a.m.

Did you know?
The Alder Street Recreation Centre boasts two 200 x 85 foot arena ice/floor pads, the red rink offers seating for 946 and the green rink has bleacher seating for 200. The centre also operates a 6-lane lap pool, leisure pool with 10 therapeutic jets, and two water toys. Along with the two pools the Town offers an indoor water slide 14 ft. 3 in. high.

The pools, ice/floor pads are available for rent, or choose from one of our five meeting rooms for that special occasion, birthday party or business meeting.

The facility has a walking track located on the second floor above the green rink for your walking or running needs (Triton Engineering Services Limited Walking Track). The Alder Street Recreation Centre is home to Orangeville's branch library located on the second level, Twister's Gymnastics and Trampoline Club located on the main level and home to the Orangeville Crushers.

The Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre
boasts two 185 x 85-foot arena ice/floor pads, both rinks offer bench seating for your viewing pleasure. The centre also operates a 13 x 25 metre six-lane pool -- offering a wide variety of opportunities seven days a week.

If you are looking for a room to rent for that special occasion, birthday party or business meeting, look no further. The Banquet Hall offers a kitchen and bar area and has a capacity to hold 240 people. The Dufferin Room has a capacity for 100 people and can be fully equipped to meet your needs.

The Town of Orangeville Parks and Recreation department now has available Facility User Group Insurance which can be purchased when renting a facility for your event(s). Who needs coverage? Any group who does not have access to an insurance program such as a Provincial Sport Association, National Sport Association, Service Club, etc. For more information see the related items on this page.

The Town of Orangeville has an Alcohol Risk Management Policy and all Town buildings are NON-SMOKING as per By-Law #75-92. All user groups and their participants are to abide by this policy and by-law. Failure to do so will result in the permit being revoked immediately.
