Canada Day Celebration & Fireworks

Dress up in your red and white and come early for an evening of fun; there's more than just fireworks to celebrate Canada Day! 
This year's Orangeville Canada Day celebrations will be held in the playing fields behind the Alder Street Recreation Centre from 7-10:15 p.m. There will be fun for all ages beginning the evening with a kids parade. Throughout the evening there will be live entertainment, inflatable jousting, rock climbing, cultural demonstrations, arts and crafts, face painting, bouncy castles, a free play area, obstacle course, a real Mountie and a Zumba party. 
Be sure to try some of the great eats from our local food vendors on site. Fireworks will cap off the evening at 10 p.m. Please see full details of activities, entertainment, parking, etc. on the Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands' website at

Organized by the Orangeville Kinsmen Club, the Orangeville Santa Claus Parade will start at approximately 5 p.m. at Hansen Boulevard and First Street.

Christmas Moonlight Magic & Tree Lighting
6-10 p.m.
Downtown Orangeville
Join in the festivities and take a traditional horse and wagon ride around the downtown, have your photo taken with Santa or drop a letter in his mail box. Listen to the holiday sounds throughout the streets. Merchants will offer extended shopping hours (until 10 p.m.), and many will have special activities, products and pricing, for this holiday family evening!

Tractor Parade of Lights
Starting at Canadian Tire, reaching Broadway at approximately 8:15 p.m.
The Tractor Parade of Lights follows a route that starts at Canadian Tire at 8 p.m. It goes out Hansen Boulevard to First Street, south on First Street to Fifth Avenue, east on Fifth Avenue to Third Street, south on Third Street to Broadway, along Broadway to First Street where it turns north and goes back to Canadian Tire.

Christmas in the Park
Opens in early December and runs daily from 7-10 p.m. until end of year.
KayCee Gardens
The Orangeville Optimist Club presents the popular "Christmas In The Park" in KayCee Gardens for most of December, during the evening hours, generally 7-10 p.m. The illuminated displays create a beautiful spectacle in the park, just off Bythia Street.
