Communications
The Town of Orangeville produces an information newsletter – the Town Page -- every other week, alternating publication in the Orangeville Banner and the Orangeville Citizen to keep residents informed about programs and services, employment and volunteer opportunities, Town-sponsored events, operating hours, and public notices and meetings.
Reporting to the C.A.O, the Communications Officer’s role is to increase the public’s awareness of Town services and programs, to communicate effectively with the public using various mediums, to prepare news releases, to create public awareness campaigns, to assist in the planning and implementing of special events, and to develop guidelines to maintain consistency through an effective communications program.
This section is designed to keep you up to date on municipal issues and Council decisions with regular news items from Council meetings.
