The Business Improvement Area

The Orangeville Business Improvement Area (BIA), represents over 230 businesses in the downtown area, and is mandated with developing the downtown core through beautification, general improvements and upgrades, promotion, events and marketing. The goal of the BIA is to make the downtown core a place that exudes small town charm in a vibrant social and cultural business centre.

Some BIA beautification initiatives include the installation of flower planters, benches, and decorative lighting. Special events and promotional initiatives include the Founders' Day Festival and Moonlight Magic. BIA projects have helped shape the vibrant and attractive downtown that exists in Orangeville today.

Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the promotion and expansion of trade and commerce by being the voice of many of the businesses in Orangeville and the Dufferin County area.

The Chamber's mandate is to enhance the economic, civic, and social welfare of the District. Chamber activities include networking events, developing community partnerships, sponsored events such as the Home & Lifestyle Show and business improvement seminars, and acting as a government liaison.

Dufferin County  Manufacturers Association

The Dufferin County Manufacturers Association is an active forum for informed and open communication between members of the industrial community in Dufferin. The Manufacturers Association acts as a voice of industry within the community by means of effective public relations and assists the Town of Orangeville to attract new industry and investment to the community.

Greater Dufferin Home Builders' Association

The Greater Dufferin Home Builders' Association was established in 1988 and currently has a membership of more than 40 members representing all aspects of the home building industry, and it is an affiliate of both the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders' Associations.

 Orangeville and District Real Estate Board

The Mandate for the Orangeville & District Real Estate Board is to promote interest in the marketing of real estate and to advance and improve the relations of the members of the Board with the public.

Further, to promote, encourage and protect the ownership of real property, endeavour to maintain real estate values and do all things considered necessary or advisable to make real estate a sound and desirable investment.

And, generally assist in the development of the Town of Orangeville and its surrounding areas in ways best calculated to promote the prosperity and wealth of its inhabitants.
