Downtown Orangeville Harvest Celebration
Downtown Orangeville is celebrating autumn with a special family fun day on Saturday, October 21. The annual Harvest Celebration marks the closing of Orangeville’s outdoor Farmers’ Market and brings trick or treating to Downtown Orangeville.
Super heroes, princesses, ghosts, zombies and other spooky characters are all invited to take part. Trick or treating for children 10 and under begins at 10 a.m. and will run rain or shine until 12 p.m. or until the candy runs out. Enjoy free face painting and petting zoo, pony rides, contests & more between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Vote for your favourite farmers’ market vendor’s Halloween costume, scarecrow, and jack o lantern. Visit the Haunted Dojo at The Dojo at 10 Second Street and don't forget your non-perishable food item for the Orangeville Food Bank.
After the kids have had their fun, it’s time to treat yourself! Sit down for a great cup of coffee and a snack at one of downtown’s cafes or drop the kids off with a sitter and indulge in a delicious meal at one of our fabulous downtown restaurants.
